Carol Newsom, Principal
Carol has been a designer in the Los Angeles since 1976, establishing Newsom Design in 1980 to provide a full range of graphic design services to urban and retail centers, schools, community/nonprofit groups, and arts organizations. A graduate of Drake University (BFA) and Penn State University (MA) Carol currently teaches at Woodbury University Department of Media Arts and Culture. She has taught at Otis College of Art, Art Center College of Design, Cal Poly Pomona, Drake University and The Boston Museum School. She currently serves on the Graphic Design advisory panel for Woodbury University Department of Media Arts and Culture, and was one of the founders of the Los Angeles Chapter of the American Institute of Graphic Arts. She has also served on the board of The Architectural Foundation of Los Angeles and is a member of the Society of Experiential Graphic Design.
